The overwhelming majority of images will come from current work. From time to time I’ll be posting from older work as is the case here. I’ll follow the theme of the natural beauty found in France.
Since 2003 I’ve been committed to digital. I had purchased a canon 10D and I’ve (until recently) had a little nostalgia for my film days. This image came from a Fugi film Velvia color slide which was scanned and received a good dose of Lightroom and Photoshop. I was happy with the way this image printed. In that case I had pushed the contrast. A limitation of posting images on the net is the consideration that most of you do not have a color calibrated monitor. Oh what a perfect world it would be if we all calibrated monitors.
The photograph was taken in the Botanical Garden at Nancy in France. Yes, I have also photographed in Monet’s garden in Giverny.
