Busy Paris à la Garry Winogrand

A pandemonium of reflections on a florist shop window (actually two windows on a corner), views from two streets, not to speak of the shops interior make for a veritable mix. As close inspection reveals a woman head under the awning viewing me.

Garry Wonogrand had said that the reason for photographing something was to see what it would look photographed. Not to compare with him, that was no doubt a large part of my motivation to take this photograph. Somehow it works in a larger print.

Florist Window

This florist shop is on the Ile de la cité close to the Palais de Justice. It could be on the rue de la cité. The photograph was taken with a Leica M8.2 with a Summicron 35mm f/2.
